Part of the Spen Valley Ringway between Royds Park and Station Court was completed in 2003.

The complete route has been part of the Kirklees plan for many years, but no progress has been made to complete the route.

We would like the Ringway to be completed. The site has naturally re-wilded itself over the years, and this swathe of green space acts as the lungs of Heckmondwike.
